Character's Name:
Age: 4 months Sex: Female
Species: Wolf
Appearance: With a bright white pelt that glows whenever moonlight touches it, she’s quite a sight to behold. Strange, though, is the marking of a black vortex, its tendrils wrapping around her face like a mask, making her look somewhat demonic. She doesn’t mind, however; with a few words she can make just about anyone fall to their knees worshipfully.
History: When the little wolf pup was born, her first act was to rip out the throats of her siblings and mother, Trialina—and this was done but within a few moments, when the birth-helper was away collecting herbs to help clean the pups with. Only then did she begin to cry for food, bewildering the midwife, as she had killed Trialina before she had fed. Nevertheless, forbidden by the laws of the archipelago to kill a child, she was given to a nursemaid—who, as there was much relief at finding out, she did not kill.
As she is only four months old, she doesn’t have much history to tell. But maybe that will change.
Personality: In a word? Trickery—sheer, unbridled, amoral trickery. It’s suspected that this little wolf pup has the gift of the silver tongue—the Belle Sacre—but few know how to truly identify the gift, and the ones who did came away after talking to her, convinced that she was a perfectly nice, sweet little pup who wouldn’t dare to hurt a soul.
Hiding beyond the twin veneers of tricks and sweetness, though, is a gift of undying loyalty waiting for someone to merely open it. First, of course, they’d have to see through her tricks, which she uses to hide her true self from the world, as if afraid that she would be rejected by it. She’s not simply evil; nothing is ever that simple. No. She is—herself. And that is all she can be.
Occasionally she will go for a swim in the depths of the ocean in the night for a few hours—she never, ever comes out during the day, especially at midday; perhaps if it is rainy you shall see her.
